The remarkable Adaptive Grand Slam (AGS) team turned out in full force to Artu’s flagship Girona lodge as they continued on their journey towards the formidable Tour Divide. The route takes them through the United States from Banff, Canada to the Mexican Border with thousands of miles and very tough weather conditions to overcome.
Taking on the gravel trails and hills around Girona, the team laid the foundations that will get them through this gruelling 2500-mile off-pavement mountain bike challenge.
The lodge has the perfect combination of state-of-the-art facilities, from gyms and pools, to saunas and private chefs for the team to prepare. The relaxation space for the team to mentally and physically check out when they'd finished a hard day of training was also crucial for the team members to recharge and help their well-being.
