The American cycling team EF Education regularly uses Artu’s Can Terrades as a focused training base for its core members. EF Education has 32 riders, representing 21 nationalities and speaking 11 languages, making it a different kind of pro-cycling team. With as much emphasis on world adventure, culture, travel and community as there is on competition success, Artu and EF Education share a pursuit of new perspectives.

The team keeps returning to Artu and considers it a training base home thanks to its magic combination of training and tranquillity. The Can Terrades lodge is nestled in perfect cycling country, with rolling hills and long flats to challenge riders. But, crucially the peace and freedom of the lodge and grounds allows the team to fully relax. They can go out in the hills to tackle 10km climbs and then sit by the pool with a coffee and de-stress after a long ride. The gym, sauna and spa are also loved by the athletes to maximise rest and recovery.
